Marvin & Floyd Realty, Inc. was founded in 1997 and is a family owned and operated, full service real estate management company, serving Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Beaches and the Ponte Vedra Beach area. For over 17 years, Marvin & Floyd Realty, Inc. has grown from the management of two associations, to the full-service, management company that it is today, with a portfolio of associations, consisting of more than 2000 individual unit/home owner accounts. SONIA MARVIN – Broker/Owner

Sonia has over 40 years of experience in accounting starting with positions in the Bahamas as an accountant with a Real Estate Agency, a Leasing Company and Chartered Accounting Firm. She is educated in the fields of accounting, computer systems and programming and has extensive experience in the preparation of financial statements, cash flows and budgets.

After relocating to Florida in 1979 she was employed by a Commercial Real Estate Developer in Clearwater and held various accounting positions in the Jacksonville area.

Sonia obtained her Florida Real Estate License in 1984 and became a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker in 1997.  She was licensed as a Community Association Manager in 1994.

In 1997 Sonia and her daughter, Karen Floyd, formed Marvin & Floyd Realty, Inc. with the main focus on the management of Homeowner and Condominium Associations.

KAREN FLOYD – Broker/Owner

Karen has been a Licensed Community Association Manager since 1996 and a Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1999. She began her real estate career in 1995 by overseeing a portfolio of over 300 rental properties in the Jacksonville area.

Karen has extensive experience and knowledge with capital and operational budgets and expenses, vendor procurement and bidding processes,  property maintenance and major building renovations, deed restriction enforcement, debt collection, leasing, client relations and  customer service.  She is also well versed in Chapter 718 and 720 of the Florida Statutes that govern Condominium and Homeowner Associations.
